It's been wonderful spending time at home with my family after such a challenging school year. Yes, I am a teacher, and so is my wife, Paula. We have two kids, Maryn Dina and Mason Dean. Life is wonderful, we are blessed, and as time goes on I tend to realize even more how lucky we are, and how lucky I am.
There is still a lot of summer left to enjoy, and that's great. Most people don't realize how much educators need to recharge their batteries before a new school year. It seems like a lot of time off, but both students and teachers all need to refresh their souls. It's nice being able to enjoy my own children as much as I do during these months, because during the school year I spend more hours of my day (awake, at least) with my students than my own kids.
You'll find that on this blog, I'll give my thoughts on a lot of things. I like to write reviews, and make commentary on things. I like to share things I have seen or experienced, and enjoy writing in general.
